You can now gain your ISA Level 1 Surf Instructor Course & SLSGB Surf Coach Safety and Rescue in Morocco’s surfing mecca, Taghazout with Ticket to Ride.

About Morocco

Morocco sits in North Africa, stone throw from Europe and its exotic allure has always tempted in travellers from around the world. The organised chaos of the winding souks, the aroma of spices and herbs and the abundance of colour awaken every sense of adventure and holiday.

Combined with the tastes of slow-cooked tagines (goat anyone?!) and the sugary addiction of steaming hot mint tea it sets the scene for a unique and exciting travel experience.

Packed Full Of Waves

Oh and then, of course, are the waves!

Morocco’s jagged coastline soaks up swell and it wraps along cliffs and beaches to produce some world class rides. Our base in the sleepy fishing turned surf village of Taghazout is slap bang in the middle of one of the most surf rich stretches of coastline we’ve ever visited.

World-renowned spots like Anchor Point sit along beginner beaches like Crocs and Devils Rock. Long open rides off of Mysteries just a quick journey around the corner from Boilers reef.

Whether you want hollow and fast, crumbly and forgiving, Taghazout allows you to take your pick – which makes it the perfect base for our instructor course, whereas you progress – you open up, even more, breaks to tackle and improve on.

The Course

The course itself sticks to the fundamentals and high standard that has made Ticket To Ride so successful. We will be staying at the incredible ‘SOL Resort’, a new eco-friendly development in a pristine location by the beach. Their facilities include a newly stocked surf shop with an awesome range of surfboards, TV room for video analysis, a gym and spa, two restaurants and their distinct ‘bungalow’ style accommodation. As well as all this, you’re within easy reach of the town, and a short stroll from your local beach break – Panoramas.

Dates: 17th – 24th February 2017
Cost: £1,095 including £500 course fees!

The course is a fast track course at only one week long, but you will learn everything you need to tackle the ISA Level 1 examination and the SLSGB Surf Coach Safety and Rescue award – both internationally recognised surf qualifications – which will then allow you to bounce around the globe living the dream.

Overview

Our Morocco Surf Instructor Course combines all the key elements that we are famous for; expert training, world-class surf breaks, comfortable accommodation and great value for money, in a brand new location.
It’s easier on the budget than our flagship South African Instructor Course but it does lack some of the amazing extras that South Africa comes packaged with.

That said our Morocco base in Taghazout has access to a wide variety of breaks and the mix of culture, sun and world-class surf creates a unique and amazing experience…which of course also sets you up with an internationally recognised qualification and the opportunity to turn the beach into your office.

We’re stoked to have Morocco as an addition to our locations and experiences – if you have any questions about it or would like to book yourself a place check it out here.
