Ticket to Ride is an adventure travel operator and specialist provider of experiences and accommodation in the best surf destinations across the world.
Founded in 2005, Will Hayler and Linley Lewis were inspired to set up Ticket to Ride after their own travels. The company originally launched with a 1000 mile road trip across South Africa combining surf coaching, community work and exploration.

MAX HEPWORTH-POVEY, VIBE DIRECTOR
Max has spent the past 15 years ‘working’ in tropical countries for Ticket to Ride and over a decade in Sri Lanka, where he has now settled down. Max keeps Nikita and the rest of the Ticket to Ride team busy…
NIKITA ROBB, SURF DIRECTOR
Nikita is the Head of all things surf and one of the best surf coaches in the game. She lives in Sri Lanka where she is known as ‘The Champ’ and is also Co-Director of the Ticket to Ride Sri Lanka Surf House.
WILL HAYLER & LINLEY LEWIS, CO-FOUNDERS
It all started on a chairlift back in 2002, where the 10 week South Africa trip concept was conceived and over 20 years later it's still going strong, with Will & Lin in the back seat helping guide the team.
LUCY THEOBALD, GENERAL MANAGER
Lucy is the Yin to Max’s Yang. From a customer in 2018, to essentially the boss now. As well as running Ticket to Ride, Lucy is studying a Masters Degree in Humanitarianism, Conflict and Development. Not shy of a challenge.
DAVID SOLOMON, AREA MANAGER, SOUTH AFRICA & INDONESIA
David is the Ultimate Positive Vibes Warrior and has carved a life for himself through pure commitment and passion to sharing his love of surfing. He is now spearheading the Ticket to Ride Operations in South Africa and Indonesia.
