Overview

Are you prepared to take your surfing to the next level?

Our four week island-hopping adventure truly encompasses all that is Ticket to Ride. Enjoy the full Indonesian experience by seeing three different islands and improve your surfing with professional tuition, in some of the most perfect waves in the World.

The Trip Leaders will go out of their way to ensure that you receive the best coaching in the best possible conditions to ensure you reach your surfing potential.

What to Expect

Expect an island experience like no other, combining three totally different islands and types of waves into one amazing trip. Indonesia’s reputation of phenomenal waves precedes itself and with four weeks of top coaching from your Trip Leaders you will grow in confidence to take on the different style of waves the islands have to offer. When island hopping we're mostly out on boats, a lot of the coaching will be done from the water, but there will also be time back on land where photo and video analysis will come into play. All our surf instructors hold internationally recognised qualifications and are there to ensure overall progression, as well as your safety in the water.

Surfing Ability

This trip is suited to beginners as well as more experienced surfers who want to take their surfing to the next level and we split the groups when necessary. Whether you’re just starting to consistently surf green waves, or looking to land your first air, our coaching team will be ready for you. We have run this trip many times with all level of surfers and have the knowledge and skills to accommodate your surfing.

  • Push your surfing to new heights (Canggu, Bali)

The group will venture further afield and surf many of the different waves that Bali has on offer. In between surfs you will also climb a volcano, go white water rafting, visit the Uluwatu monkey temple and if needed, purchase yourself a new surfboard at a great price.

  • Focus on your surfing technique (Lombok)

You will fly over to Lombok with your Trip Leaders, where we will stay in the small fishing village of Gerupuk and hit early morning surfs and explore surf breaks by boat. This week will focus on your surfing technique and we'll use photo and video analysis to help you improve.

  • Progress on (Nusa Lembongan)

A fun ferry ride takes you to Nusa Lembongan island, where you'll consolidate all that you've learnt so far to take on some of the most beautiful waves in the World. In between surfs you can snorkel in the lagoon in front of the accommodation.

  • Farewell! (Canggu, Bali)

After a solid four weeks of surf, eat, surf, eat, surf, eat, sleep repeat, we get a short ferry back to Canggu for a final night. On the last day it's time to head to the airport, tanned, surfed out and stoked.

There are loads of different types of waves to suit everyone's needs, so don't fret!

Our Indonesian adventures are aimed at individuals who are looking to extend their surfing knowledge. Our coaches are more than qualified to teach total beginners to competition level surfers. This 4 week trip is beginner friendly.

Speak to our Trip Experts before booking to ensure you’re on the best trip for you.

These islands are low to no risk areas of Indonesia. However, we recommend checking the latest government advice on Fit For Travel and consulting your GP before you leave.

Living in Indonesia is nice and cheap but it's difficult to give an exact figure as this varies from individual to individual. A budget of £70 - £100 per week is likely to be more than adequate but if you're a bit of a big spender then you many need to budget for more.

Yes you do. For many countries Indonesia is now doing a Visa on Arrival system. If your trip is longer than 30 days you will need to extend your visa. The free Visa on Arrival (VOA) cannot be extended, but you can pay for the extendable version at the airport. This can be extended for a further 30 days, so you can remain in Indonesia for 60 days total.

Visas are only issued on the grounds that you have proof of return/onward travel out of Indonesia. You may also be asked to show proof of funds (often about £1,500), so it's always worth bringing a valid credit card for this purpose.

Important: Please check with your own country’s embassy/advice to confirm your travel requirements as this varies from country to country.
