28 Jun 2025 2 Weeks All Levels Split Payment Options Trips from £1595

Overview

Hassle-free surf trip in the world’s most wave-rich country.

Bali is the surfing capital of Indonesia and we base ourselves in the vibrant town of  Canggu, on the West Coast. We make the most of our time surfing the numerous breaks on our doorstep, enjoying surf specific training and stretching on the roof terrace and winding down in the beachfront warungs and bars. By joining the Bali Surf Camp you'll experience the incredible combination of unparalleled surfing and the hospitality of Indonesian culture, in a unique and hassle-free way.

What to Expect

Expect to discover a rich culture, climb a volcano and enjoy delicious food in between unlocking your surfing potential. An island paradise awaits.

Your experienced surf guides will help you to take your surfing to the next level, and with their outstanding local knowledge you'll score the best waves. We will also take a drive to explore some surf spots further afield. Two weeks in this tropical paradise will be the perfect break from the stresses of daily life and see your surfing reach an all-time high.

While surfing every day might be just the ticket for some, the Trip Leaders will always add in plenty of down time to give bodies the chance to rest and recuperate. Relax by doing some yoga, swim in the pool, dine out in the local restaurants or simply put your feet up and read a book. We will also explore the island, hiking up the volcano, visiting the monkey temples of Uluwatu and head to Ubud for some white water river rafting!

There are loads of different types of waves to suit everyone's needs, so don't fret!

Our Indonesian adventures are aimed at individuals who are looking to extend their surfing knowledge. Our coaches are more than qualified to teach total beginners to competition level surfers. This 2 week Bali Surf Camp is beginner friendly.

Speak to our Trip Experts before booking to ensure you’re on the best trip for you.

This island is low to no risk areas of Indonesia. However, we recommend checking the latest government advice on Fit For Travel and consulting your GP before you leave.

Living in Indonesia is nice and cheap but it's difficult to give an exact figure as this varies from individual to individual. A budget of £70 - £100 per week is likely to be more than adequate but if you're a bit of a big spender then you many need to budget for more.

Yes you do. For many countries Indonesia is now doing a Visa on Arrival system. If your trip is longer than 30 days you will need to extend your visa. The free Visa on Arrival (VOA) cannot be extended, but you can pay for the extendable version at the airport. This can be extended for a further 30 days, so you can remain in Indonesia for 60 days total.

Visas are only issued on the grounds that you have proof of return/onward travel out of Indonesia. You may also be asked to show proof of funds (often about £1,500), so it's always worth bringing a valid credit card for this purpose.

Important: Please check with your own country’s embassy/advice to confirm your travel requirements as this varies from country to country.
